The OAK-D-SR is designed to offer better short-range accuracy than the standard OAK-D camera. It is an ideal solution for applications that require detailed and accurate depth perception in close range, such as automated manufacturing and quality control.

It's particularly suitable for mounting on robots or picking arms. This camera uses the OAK-SoM-Pro to achieve a compact design. By using the SoM, the camera's overall size is reduced, making it easier to integrate into various robotic processes. Additionally, the design is open-source, allowing for necessary modifications to be made.
