OAK-D S2 PoE

The PoE line has been upgraded to the series 2, featuring a more durable and sturdy body rated IP65, an industrial M12 Ethernet connector, stand-alone mode with built-in flash memory, new options for CCM and many other enhancements.

Through networking protocols (TCP, UDP, HTTP, MQTT, etc.), the cameras can communicate with other computers when connected to a PoE source. You can also execute your programmes in an independent mode thanks to the device's flash memory, which is a characteristic of our PoE models. Additionally, this OAK camera has an additional M8 connector for IO connectivity (USB2, FSIN, STROBE, 5V/GND, GPIO).

Two variant options are available:

Auto-Focus - For capturing objects within the range of 8 cm to 50 cm from the device (refer to the video), it is advisable to utilise auto-focus cameras. However, if required, the DepthAI API can be employed to adjust the focus position to a specific setting manually.

Fixed-Focus - For applications that involve heavy vibrations, such as drones, lawnmowers, or vehicles (refer to the video), fixed-focus cameras are recommended to ensure optimal performance.
