A low cost USB camera device with integrated, switchable IR-cut filter and infrared LEDs. The motorised infrared cut filter is triggered by an onboard photoresistor in low light conditions switching the camera from visible light mode to infrared mode. 

In day mode mode the filter blocks IR light and in night mode it passes IR light, using the light source to illuminate the scene.

The Omnivision sensor gives excellent performance in all light conditions and has good sensitivity in the NIR band.
