The ArduCAM team launched a revised version of the B0031, a CS-mount add-on camera module that is fully compatible with the official Raspberry Pi board. This latest module enhances the optical performance compared to the previous Pi cameras, resulting in a much clearer and sharper image for the user. Additionally, it offers FREX and STROBE signals that can be utilised for multi-camera synchronized capture with the appropriate camera driver firmware.
The camera board can be connected to the Raspberry Pi through one of the two small sockets on the board's upper surface. The camera is linked to the BCM2835/BCM2836 processor on the Pi via the CSI bus, transmitted through the ribbon cable connecting the camera board to the Pi.
