OAK-D LR

The OAK-D LR (Long Range) was designed to have precise long range stereo depth perception. The M12 lenses for the cameras are easily interchangeable, which has an impact on the maximum depth perception range in stereo. In order to accomplish precise, long-range and short-range depth perception, it has three AR0234 global shutter colour cameras that work as a multi-stereo pair.

The OAK-SoM-Pro is used by the OAK-D LR to create a generally compact design. By utilising the SoM, the design can be mounted or fitted into a variety of robotic processes with less difficulty. Additionally, the design is open-source, allowing for any necessary adjustments.

A Series 2 OAK camera, the OAK-D LR has 4 TOPS processing power and can use any AI model. This device can sense depth up to about 30 metres thanks to the baseline's 15 cm width. Users can quickly switch lenses, and with very narrow FOV lenses, stereo depth perception of more than 100 metres is conceivable.
