The Cube Eye S100D ToF 3D Depth Camera uses a laser diode illuminator and receiver to measure an object's distance in pixel units. Through a modulated light source, the camera illuminates the object or scene and calculates the phase shift between the emitted and reflected light to determine distance.

The S100D offers true VGA resolution and low power consumption in a compact design. With a 0.2m to 4m operating range and VGA (640 x 480) depth pixel count, this camera provides high-quality results in a compact and efficient package.

It is capable of reaching 7.5 to 30 fps and can create measurements from 25cm to as far as 4 metres in a package measuring just 60mm x 15mm x 10mm (MIPI dimension).

The Vertical-Cavity Surface-Emitting Laser (class 1) employed by this product transmits at a 940nm wavelength, lowering the impact of sunlight in outdoor settings.
