Introducing the OAK-D Pro W - a cutting-edge Series 2 OAK camera that packs a punch with its impressive 4 TOPS processing power. But that's not all - it also has the unique capability to operate any AI model. Whether it's image recognition, object detection or voice recognition, this camera has got you covered.

The OAK-D Pro W comes with advanced features that make it stand out in the market. Its IR illumination LED ensures clear night vision, while the IR laser dot projector facilitates active stereo, providing enhanced depth perception. Additionally, its Wide Field of View allows it to capture a broader range of surroundings, making it an ideal choice for a large range of projects.

For applications that demand high-quality and dependable stereo depth perception in any type of environment, including low-light and texture-less scenes where traditional passive stereo approaches may struggle, it is recommended to use the Pro version of the camera.

Having a wide FOV enables you to capture a larger area in a single shot, which can be incredibly advantageous for various use cases such as:

  1. In Multi-Camera Setups, a wide FOV can reduce the number of cameras required to cover the entire area.
  2. For Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs), a wide FOV is beneficial for covering a larger area and obtaining more features for localisation and 3D mapping.
  3. Object Tracking and Counting Applications can also benefit from a wide FOV, such as vehicles or people counting over a larger area.

Key Features:

  • USB-C connector for both power and communication, supporting USB2 and USB3 (5Gbps / 10Gbps)
  • IR illumination LED: allows perceiving low-light and no-light environments
  • IR laser dot projector (active stereo): improves depth perception, especially for low-visual-interest surfaces (little or no surface texture)
  • 4 TOPS of processing power (1.4 TOPS for AI)
  • Run any AI model, even custom-architectured/built ones
  • Encoding: H.264, H.265, MJPEG - 4K/30FPS, 1080P/60FPS
  • Computer vision: warp/dewarp, resize, crop, edge detection, feature tracking
  • Stereo depth perception at 120 FPS with filtering
  • Object tracking: 2D and 3D tracking
  • Dimension: 97 x 29.5 x 22.9mm
  • Weight: 91g

The OAK-D Pro W comes in two different versions - a standard variant that features the IMX378 RGB camera and a special variant that is based on the OV9782 RGB camera.
