This 8MP camera module is equipped with a high-definition IMX219 8MP sensor which matches the quality of the previous Raspberry Pi Camera V2. It is the perfect camera for various applications and usages like time-lapse, slow motion, home security applications and more.
This camera module is exclusively compatible with the latest Raspberry Pi OS Bullseye (January 28, 2022 and onwards) and libcamera applications. Regrettably, it is not accessible to users of previous Raspberry Pi OS versions (Legacy).
