Overview
-
Interchangeable M12 Lens: You can replace the M12 lens to tailor your optics for your chosen application/solution
- Motorised IR-cut Switch: equipped with an onboard motorized IR cut filter, supporting visible and night vision capabilities.
This camera has been specifically designed for night vision purposes. The Arducam OV5647 day and night camera can meet your needs in various lighting conditions. Its unique technology enables automatic IR-cut switching throughout the day. Additionally, it comes with a M12x0.5 Mount LS1820 Lens, which can be interchanged if required.
The utilisation of Raspberry Pi in various projects has been extensive. However, certain users encountered difficulties when employing the camera in low light conditions alongside an Infrared light source. Regrettably, the Raspberry Pi camera module incorporates an Infrared filter, rendering it unsuitable for their specific undertaking. As a solution, we have developed a specialised camera module known as the Pi NoIR camera, tailored specifically for such projects. This camera module is identical to the standard version, except it has a motorised IR-cut filter to enable seamless filter switching.
The connection to Raspberry Pi is established through one of the two compact sockets located on the upper surface of the board. These two sockets are 2 × 4-lane MIPI DSI/CSI connectors, which are specifically designed for integration with cameras.
