Overview
The primary purpose of the Arducam IMX219 NoIR camera module is for compatibility with the NVIDIA® Jetson Nano platform. Still, it can also be utilised with other hardware such as ARM, DSP, FPGA, and more. The standout feature of this camera lies in its wide field of view.
The IMX219 image sensor is a 1/4″ 8MP MIPI CSI-2 sensor that was integrated into the Raspberry Pi V2 camera module in 2016. Presently, the Jetson Nano and Xavier NX have native support for the IMX219 camera (B0193) without any additional setup required (however, you need to make sure you have the correct kernel drivers).
If you require a lens replacement, please be aware that the lens on this camera cannot be changed. However, if this is necessary, you must contact us.

Kernel Camera Driver
To ensure compatibility, it is important to refer to the Supported JetPack Version for Different NVIDIA Jetson Platforms, as this camera is dependent on kernel drivers. Specifically, it requires one kernel version and one camera driver to function properly.
SUPPORTED PLATFORM DISCLAIMER
This camera is exclusively tailored for the official NVIDIA® Jetson™ Developer Kit by default, thereby lacking compatibility with third-party carrier boards.
This camera does not support the standard Raspberry Pi models (like Raspberry Pi 3/3B+/4).
Instructions for Orin Nano/NX and AGX Orin
For the Orin Nano/Orin NX, a 15-22 pin FFC (CB011) is required. If you are using an AGX Orin, an additional camera adapter (B0472) is required. Contact us or use our live chat to find out more.
