Arducam has announced a new kickstarter for their new Arducam Mega SPI Camera. This SPI camera can work with any microcontroller with a single standard SPI interface and is capable of easy multi-camera capability when paired with the multi-camera adapter.
They have also released a new SDK for the Arducam Mega. The SDK is a C and C++ package, which will help with the common tasks when being used.
With this new product comes new technology. The Arducam mega boasts a fast 100ms to turn on the camera and to be ready to shoot and it can also be powered down completely, which leads to low power consumption. The camera works on both 3.3V and 5V system, and it takes up only 4 SPI pins.
